Tottenham legend Ossie Ardiles has urged Carlos Tevez to quit Manchester United.

Ardiles is good friends with Tevez and told ESPN: "Since the arrival of (Dimitar) Berbatov, Tevez has played much less. If he is not usually in the starting XI, he will have to rethink his future.

"When he has had a chance, Carlitos has played well and scored goals."
