West Ham United have pulled out of talks for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Telegraph says he striker, 31, is free to leave Tottenham as the club seek to shed his £100,000-a-week wages from their books.
West Ham were on the verge of singing the Togo international on the last day of the January transfer window before Spurs chairman Daniel Levy pulled the plug on the move.
Adebayor has already rejected a chance to join former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood at Aston Villa this summer.
He is yet to be allocated a squad number at Spurs this season after Harry Kane took his number 10 shirt over the summer and has been told he won't play again for the White Hart Lane outfit.
