Spurs kid Jon Obika thrilled with FA Youth Cup hat-trick

Tottenham striker Jon Obika was thrilled with his FA Youth Cup hat-trick against Sheffield United this week.

It comes less than a week after the striker made his First Team debut against NEC Nijmegen in the UEFA Cup.

"It's amazing to score a hat-trick at White Hart Lane and you can only dream about these things happening," Obika told Tottenham's website.

"The day before the game I was just focused on putting in a good performance, but I'm delighted to score three goals.

"We spoke before the match about starting off on the right foot, so to get an early goal was good for the team.

"They had about ten minutes of possession after our opener, but after that I thought we took control of the game.

"I had a lot of chances on the night, but I'm happy with the three goals and the way I composed myself for the finishes.

"The lads are delighted with the result and it's the performance of the team that matters, so everyone's happy.

"I also got my first match ball as well so I'm really happy with that, and I got a few of the lads to sign it, so it will take pride of place at home."
