Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson doesn't expect to be named in Fabio Capello's first England squad.

"I don't think I can expect to be in the squad this time," said Robinson. "I am not playing football and if that's the case I can't expect to be selected. I will be surprised if I am. But this whole situation is an incentive for me to get my head down at Tottenham and concentrate on getting my place back."

The Tottenham manager, Juande Ramos, has opted for Radek Cerny instead of Robinson for the last four games and Robinson added: "The manager is paid to make decisions and as a footballer you are paid to accept them."
