Spurs keeper Ranieri helps Ipswich dump Arsenal out of FA Youth Cup

Arsenal have been dumped out of the FA Youth Cup - thanks to a goalkeeper from Tottenham!

The Cup holders were undone 2-0 last night by Ipswich Town at Underhill in a huge shock.

And between the posts for Ipswich was Tottenham goalkeeper Mirko Ranieri, who is on a season-long loan at Portman Road.

When Ranieri joined Spurs, sporting director at the time Damien Comolli said of the player: "Mirko is 6ft 2 and an excellent shot-stopper.

"His distribution and decision making is improving all the time.

"He is a highly-intelligent individual and another very good young goalkeeper we have attracted to the Club."
