Tottenham have played down reports manager Tim Sherwood will be shown the door at the end of the season.

Sherwood went into victory over Sunderland with press reports suggesting a decision had already been made.

But a Spurs source told PA Sport: "The board will meet with Tim at the end of the season as they would normally to review how things have progressed. Anything else is just speculation."
