Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker is determined to be in England's squad for the World Cup.
Barring injury or a massive drop in form, Walker would seem to be a shoo-in for a spot in Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad, where he will compete with Liverpool's Glen Johnson for a starting place.
He said: "I could never have dreamed of playing at a World Cup finals when I was a young boy kicking a ball around in Sheffield. Playing for your country at a World Cup in Brazil - that is just an unbelievable prospect.
"But hopefully I can be on the plane when the manager chooses the players he wants to represent England next summer.
"Of course, I need to keep doing the business for Spurs and make sure I am in the best shape I can be.
"And if that means getting to be part of the World Cup squad, it would be amazing - a dream come true."
