Spurs fullback Davies pleased with most consistent season yet

Tottenham left back Ben Davies is delighted with how his season progressed.

Injuries for Danny Rose and great form by Davies meant that he was often the first choice left back or left wing back.

He made a total of 38 appearances for the club, his most consistent total yet.

The 25-year-old is very happy with the impact he made on the team.

"I'd like to think it's been my best season so far," Davies told BBC Sport Wales.

"I've played in some big games, played in the Champions League, the semi-final of the FA Cup and we did well in the Premier League again.

"To finish third was a really good effort with the competition that was around, and I'm glad I played a part in it."
