Tottenham fullback Ben Davies is happy seeing Mauricio Pochettino linked with big rivals.

Pochettino has attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United thanks to his good work at White Hart Lane.

Davies said: “You look at other managers and you see they are under pressure, so it's nice to see our manager linked with big clubs.

“It's a compliment to us as a team, that he has set us up so well and we can repay the favour."

For Davies the case is clear, Pochettino deserves plenty of credit for the Spurs revival.

“He has been excellent," the Wales international added. “So a lot of praise has to go to him."
