Spurs favourites as Beckham ready to quit MLS to end career in England

David Beckham is ready to quit LA Galaxy to close out his playing career in England.

The Mail on Sunday says Beckham will be a free agent when his LA Galaxy contract expires in November and is ready to sign for a Premier League club.

Beckham is training with Tottenham and will be in the stands with his son Brooklyn at White Hart Lane when they play his former club Manchester United.

Negotiations for a loan to Spurs have been unsuccessful but manager Harry Redknapp has said he would consider offering the 35-year-old midfielder a long-term deal later in the year.
