The Sun says Spurs are lining up a swoop for Argentine hitman Lavezzi.

But Mauricio Pochettino faces strong competition from Atletico Madrid for the £15m-rated Paris Saint-Germain star.

The 29-year-old still has a year to run on his current contract although the Parisian giants have yet to offer him a new deal.
