Spurs scored twice in quick succession early on - first through Shayon Harrison after nine minutes, before Samuel Shashoua added a second moments later.

Looking to quickly get back into the tie, Steve Gatting's side came close through Charlie Gilmour, who struck the woodwork, before John-Jules pulled a goal back with an effort from long range.

Shortly before the half-hour mark we drew level from the penalty spot through Gilmour after the referee deemed that Japhet Tanganga had handled the ball.

With half-time nearing, the hosts saw a penalty claim dismissed after Harrison went down in a scramble for the ball, but their claims were waved away.
