Tottenham are chasing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
The News of the World says Spurs boss Juande Ramos wants Hart - and a senior keeper - as he seeks to overhaul his goalkeeping stocks.
Hart, 21, is angry he is still on £10,000 a week at Manchester City, but is likely to think twice about leaving the club where he is No1 for a bench role at Spurs.
