Tottenham coach Tim Sherwood says the players are excited by the challenge of knocking off league leaders Manchester United this weekend.
Spurs want to be the first team to inflict a league defeat on United this season.
Sherwood told talkSPORT: "The aim is to be the first team to beat United. A point is no good to us. We need to close the gap at the top and we think we've got every opportunity to do that with the players we've got available.
"We've not seen too much free-flowing football from United this season and we hope we don't see it on Sunday. But they know how to grind out results and they're the best team in the division at doing it.
"But we've got good players and I'm sure Sir Alex Ferguson is worried about facing Tottenham. It must be one of their toughest games for a long time."
