Les Ferdinand is being lined up to join the QPR coaching staff.
The People says Ferdinand could be heading for a reunion with Harry Redknapp, as part of the QPR chief's backroom team.
Redknapp wants former Hoops and England hitman Ferdinand to work with his strikers and plans to speak to him about a return to Loftus Road.
Ferdinand, 46, worked with Redknapp and his assistants Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond at Spurs, and the new QPR boss wants him to quit his role at White Hart Lane and follow them to west London.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will not want to lose Ferdinand, but knows a return to the club where he started his career will tempt him.
