Tottenham are closing in on Real Zaragoza attacker Sergio Garcia.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos sent representatives to Spain yesterday to sign the former Barcelona forward.

Zaragoza are understood to be determined to refuse any offer under £14 million for their striker, who travelled with Spain to Austria yesterday as part of their 23-man Euro 2008 squad.
