The Sun says Spurs boss Martin Jol is a long-term admirer of Taylor, 25, and enquired about the £5million-rated star last week.
Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie refused to rule out off-loading versatile left-sided man Taylor, who is a Spurs fan.
