Tottenham chiefs want Andre Villas-Boas to recall Emmanuel Adebayor so to put him in the January shop window.
The Mirror says Villas-Boas is under pressure to bring Emmanuel Adebayor back into his first-team plans at Spurs.
It comes amid concern that the club will struggle to claw back a decent fee for the striker in January.
Adebayor returned to first-team training on Monday for the first time since leaving on compassionate grounds following the death of his brother three months ago.
