Tottenham sports chief Damien Comolli insists Darren Bent is not for sale ahead of the winter market.

He has been linked with a January switch to West Ham United, where he would be reunited with former Charlton boss Alan Curbishley.

"Darren is not a six-month project," said Comolli in the Mail on Sunday. "He is on a long-term contract.

"As far as we're concerned he'll be here for a long time."
