Tottenham and Chelsea legend Glenn Hoddle is full of pride over Ikechi Anya's two-year contract at Sevilla.

Released by Oxford United and Wycombe Wanderers by the age of 18, Anya, or 'Kechi' as he is known, played non-league football for Halesowen Town before joining the Glenn Hoddle Academy (GHA) last September.

Hoddle told the Daily Mail: "Kechi was somebody who would've been lost to football, so to see where he's gone - I'm pinching myself.

"In many ways it's just as rewarding as winning cups and medals as a manager because his life has been changed through football, and that's a wonderful thing."
