Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has blanked Real Madrid over a scheduled meeting for Gareth Bale transfer talks. The Daily Star says Real president Florentino Perez was expecting to meet Levy in Miami for their first face-to-face talks about Bale - but the Spurs chairman backed out at the last minute.
The move has stunned the Spanish giants, who insisted Spurs had agreed to the meeting, and the Welshman is understood to be "furious".
Sources in Spain now claim Real will hold further talks with Bale's agent today to try and get him to hand in a transfer request, but that is unlikely.
