Spurs chairman Levy refusing to meet with Bale over Real Madrid pursuit

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is BLANKING Gareth Bale as the Welshman seeks talks over Real Madrid's pursuit.

The Mirror says Levy is refusing "point-blank" to hold any further talks with Bale on the issue after ruling the Welshman will not be sold this summer regardless of whatever Real may offer.

While the football world was stunned by the lengths to which Real are going to get their man, Levy has already dismissed Madrid's offer of £51million plus Angel Di Maria and Fabio Coentrao - totalling £95million.

Levy - set to announce the record-breaking, £26million signing of Roberto Soldado from Valencia this week - is now giving Bale the cold shoulder.

The Spurs chief is desperate to reach the Champions League and believes they have a much better chance with Bale in the side.
