Spurs chairman Levy offered fresh encouragement in Ancelotti pursuit

Tottenham hopes to bringing Carlo Ancelotti back to London are gathering pace. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy sees the Italian as the replacement for Harry Redknapp, should he take the England job.

Currently in charge of PSG, former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is under pressure with the title out of reach. Indeed, it's broke today that PSG have sent out feelers to Espanyol coach Mauricio Pochettino about his availability.

Should he be axed, Ancelotti would welcome a return to London, where he admits he was waiting for a Premier League job before the PSG offer was made last year.
