Spurs chairman Levy must find £8M for Briand

Tottenham sports chief Damien Comolli will have to convince chairman Daniel Levy to cough up big - again - in January if they're to land Rennes striker Jimmy Briand.

The Spurs scouts are believed to have been impressed by the Frenchman who is likely to cost around £8million after Rennes rejected a £6million bid from Paris St Germain in the summer.
