Spurs chairman Levy assures Ramos over Berbatov sale

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has assured coach Juande Ramos that striker Dimitar Berbatov will not be sold.

The Mirror says Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was ready to offer Louis Saha and Wes Brown - plus £6m - to land the Bulgarian ace next month.

The United boss made a big play for Berbatov in the summer and is determined not to give up on his No.1 transfer target.

But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has reassured Ramos that the club will not sell Berbatov at the moment under any circumstances. And Ramos and Levy will get their united message over to the White Hart Lane fans that Berbatov will not be sold no matter what offer comes in.
