Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is expected to put on-hold a move for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
The Daily Mail says Richards has failed to build on his early promise but has improved his form of late. Tottenham manager Redknapp is a fan and believes he could improve the England U21 international who can play right-back or centre half.
However, while City would listen to offers, he is not a priority for Tottenham.
Redknapp would still prefer to have a goalkeeper, another striker, a centre midfielder and left-sided player ahead of Richards.
