Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has told Roman Pavlyuchenko to stop thinking he's Diego Maradona!
Pavlyuchenko said: "The manager keeps telling me that I should get the ball and find a teammate. I'm not a dribbler. I'm not Maradona. My job is to get the ball and either pass or score. That's all."
The Spurs striker also revealed that he had a premonition that he would score against Wigan in the FA Cup, where he scored two goals. However, he did find it strange playing on Friday as this is usually a public holiday for him at home in Russia.
"It was very unusual having to play on January 2. But I couldn't help it, could I? I'm a professional and have to adjust to the situation."
Speaking to Russian newspaper Sport Express he added: "I had a premonition that I was going to score. I felt good, it felt like fun going for that game.
"In the first half against Wigan there were not so many chances to score, but after the break our opponents couldn't stand the pressure we were building up. We completely controlled the game."
