Spurs boss Redknapp offered players for AC Milan keeper Abbiati

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has made a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati.

Italian sources say Milan rejected the advances of Redknapp yesterday when the Tottenham manager offered Heurelho Gomes and Gareth Bale for their second-string goalkeeper, Abbiati.

What is this nonsense? Gomes and Bale for a ageing and over the hill keeper?
No one in their right mind will even trade Bale for one of their defenders... Let alone adding in Gomes to the deal
