Spurs boss Redknapp to offer Pavlyuchenko for AC Milan’s Huntelaar

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is chasing AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Daily Star Sunday says Spurs are plotting a deal to swap flop Roman Pavlyuchenko for AC Milan outcast Huntelaar.

Dutch star Huntelaar, 26, has failed to make an impact at the San Siro since joining from Real Madrid for £12.8m last summer and has yet to score a Serie A goal.

The former Ajax hitman recently announced he’s eager to prove his worth at Milan and that he’s not yet thinking about leaving the club.

Why swap? Just sell Huntellar and bring Dzeko in. Its not that Hunt is not good, its just that this kind of football doesn't fit him. He needs to push trough walls just to get into a right position, and he clearly is not able to.

Spurs should just sell Pav and use the money to buy Diego Capel! We already have 3 strikers and Dos santos is there aswell so why buy another striker?? If we buy Capel he is a left winger which we dot have at the moment, this would free up Modric to play in the middle when he returns from injury.

I would say that Huntelaar in a totalt different class... He might not be playing well at the moment, but give him some time... At the same time i dont believe Tottenham is a club with the prestige he is on the lookout for.. He played in Ajax, the best club in the Netherlands then he comes to Real Madrid which is one the biggest club in the world, then he comes to AC Milan which is a club with a lot of history and is fairly good team and the moment. Then some of you say Tottenham, they have surprised this year and have a good team but i cannot see him going to a club 4-6 in England. i just cannot see the link ;)
