Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp must sell if he wants to land West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.
The London Evening Standard says Redknapp is keen to do a deal with West Ham for England international Upson but has been told by chairman Daniel Levy that he needs to sell before he can buy.
He would prefer to raise funds by getting rid of Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko and midfielder David Bentley, but the club are struggling to find anyone who will meet their asking price for the underperforming forwards.
