Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keen too see how his fringe players perform in tonight's UEFA Cup tie with Shakhtar Donetsk.
"I'm looking forward to seeing what the lads can do," he said.
"Some of them need a game and it's an opportunity for them. Pascal Chimbonda needs to play, Fraizer Campbell needs to play and so does Giovani dos Santos.
"We have David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas. It won't hurt JJ, I can play him tonight, play him Monday and rest him next Thursday in time for the Carling Cup."
There will also be a first-team debut for 17-year-old Dean Parrett, who joins seven other academy hopefuls on the trip.
Redknapp added: "I brought a few of the kids and I'm thinking about giving one a start. Parrett's been playing well in the youth team. It's a good experience for them."
