Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing Rennes striker Jimmy Briand. The young forward was a target for Redknapp over the summer while he was in charge of Portsmouth.

Briand has just knocked back an approach from Olympiacos and French sources say Rennes expect Spurs to move for the youngster in January.
