Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is happy to see Joe Kinnear succeeding at Newcastle - and Sam Allardyce back in the game with Blackburn Rovers.
Redknapp said: "At the time I was surprised Joe got the job, everybody was.
"But Joe has proved what you can do if you know what you are doing. He has gone in there with a bit of common sense and has turned it around.
"They have got good players and I'd love to see Joe get the job permanently.
"I'm also pleased to see Sam back, even though I was sorry to see Incey go.
"Sam has been out of the game too long. Clubs don't need to keep getting in foreign bosses as half of them ain't no good."
