Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hopes to complete a double signing in the next 24 hours.
Redknapp still hopes to complete the signings of Real Madrid man Lassana Diarra and Manchester City reject Emmanuel Adebayor.
"We are still talking to both but I don't know what progress there has been," said Redknapp.
"But if we do get them, I am not sure how ready they would be to play on Monday. It depends what work they have done."
