Tottenham boss Juande Ramos admits winger Aaron Lennon must do better.
Lennon has been left out of England boss Fabio Capello's 30-man squad for this week's friendly against France, though played in Tottenham's victory over Portsmouth on Saturday.
"Lennon has had some magnificent games, he's not doing quite so well at the moment but these things can happen to players during a season," said Ramos. "Players have to improve on all aspects of their play.
"Obviously pace is a great quality to have and it's one of his best attributes. We have to make the most of it."
