Tottenham boss Juande Ramos was in Barcelona as the Londoners continue their pursuit of Samuel Eto'o.

DiarioSport says Ramos was in the city on personal business, though the Spurs coach may have made contact with Barcelona officials for an update on talks over a deal for the Cameroon international. While Ramos usually steers clear of transfer negotiations, he could make an exception in Eto'o's case given the player's status.

Spurs opened talks over personal terms with Eto'o some days ago, though the two parties are some way from agreement over wages.
