Spurs boss Pochettino tells Zidane 'join me in England'; When Waddle had Marseille players shocked

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says Zinedine Zidane should consider a Premier League move.

The Real Madrid coach was undone by Pochettino's Spurs at Wembley last night, losing their Champions League encounter 3-1.

Argentine Pochettino is convinced Zidane could be a success in England.

"Because of his skills and his personality, it seems normal to me that Zidane can train in England. FIFA said he's the best coach in the world. He just has to want it," said Pochettino.

"What is certain is that he has the ability to train wherever he wants."

Meanwhile, Marseille striker Kostas Mitroglou is being compared to Tottenham hero Chris Waddle.

Former OM defender Eric di Meco believes the Greek is being judged too soon by fans and called for patience - just as what happened with Waddle when he moved to the Velodrome.

Di Meco told RMC: "I'm not a fan of Mitroglou. But if we had judged Chris Waddle as we judge Mitroglou, after two days, we would have drowned! But yes! The common point is that it took six months for Chris to be good, I lived it.

"When he arrived at OM, at his first training, we wondered who was brought to us. He was struggling!"
