Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insists Emmanuel Adebayor can still have a future with the club. Adebayor did not feature in their FA Cup win over Burnley despite Spurs boss Pochettino toying with bringing the Togo striker back into the fold after a nine-week absence.

"Yes, I explained last week, he's nearly ready for selection," said Pochettino.

"He's training in the last few weeks; his training sessions have been very good."
