Tottenham are moving to trump Liverpool for Southampton defender Dejan Lovren.
The Daily Express says Lovren is reportedly unhappy at St Mary's after seeing manager and friend Mauricio Pochettino depart for Spurs, and it now appears that the Argentinian is keen for a reunion at White Hart Lane.
And with question marks surrounding the futures of Michael Dawson and Younes Kaboul, Pochettino wants to beat Reds boss Brendan Rodgers to Lovren's signature.
Saints rate Lovren at £15 million.
