Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed a move to Milton Keynes could happen.
Spurs admit it is 'highly unlikely' the club would be in residence at the new stadium in time for the 2017-18 season, and will now spend a season away from White Hart Lane.
Speaking ahead of their trip to Sunderland, Pochettino said: "Every single decision the club makes is to improve and give better facilities to our supporters so I back this decision.
"Yes, I was in Milton Keynes to watch the game with Manchester United in the Capital One Cup. It was the first time I had been there.
"It is a very good stadium with very good facilities but nothing more - it's a possibility.
"We need to speak a lot about this decision because we need all the information about the club, the supporters and the team but at the moment we are not talking about this."
