Spurs boss Jol: I have chairman support

Tottenham boss Martin Jol insists he has the full backing of chairman Daniel Levy after their 1-1 draw at Bolton Wanderers.

The Dutch coach is anxious to turn things around in the wake of reports that Jose Mourinho was approached to take over at White Hart Lane after leaving Chelsea.

But Jol retorted: "Daniel Levy phoned me to say it was rubbish and hoped that I would be with him next year.

"He is always good to me, always backing me."

Tottenham were in the driving seat thanks to the opening goal from Robbie Keane after 33 minutes, only for Ivan Campo to equalise five minutes later.
