Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has urged Gareth Bale to sign a new contract.
The Welshman has a new contract offer on the table.
"It would be good for him [if he signs a new contract]," said Villas-Boas. "It will put the speculation to bed. It would be a reward for what he has achieved this season."
