Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is eyeing Porto defender Rolando.

The Daily Star Sunday says Fiorentina are the favourites to sign the Portugal centre-back, who is valued at about £5million.

But Tottenham have been kept informed of developments and Villas-Boas, who was in charge of Rolando while he was manager at Porto, is still interested.

Porto rejected Spurs' initial loan proposal but money will be no object if Gareth Bale joins Real Madrid.
