Tottenham have made a move for Barcelona striker David Villa.

El Confidencial says Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is making a bid to take Villa to London this month.

Liverpool and Chelsea have both had offers rebuffed by Barca, but AVB is convinced he can strike a deal for the striker.

Arsenal are also interested in Villa and are in talks with Barca over the experienced forward.
