Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas says their Europa League run won't affect their top four push.

As well as chasing a top-four slot, Tottenham are still in the Europa League and face the first leg their quarter-final against Swiss side Basel at White Hart Lane on Thursday.

But Villas-Boas insists this will help his men on the run-in, not hinder them.

He said: "The fact we are in a European competition can only be positive instead of negative.

"It gives you that extra stimulus of another trophy you can put in your cabinet."
