Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is happy for Emmanuel Adebayor to wind-up opposition fans in the coming week.

AVB will not bat an eyelid today at Manchester City or at Arsenal next Saturday if the striker scores and then celebrates right in front of the fans who once chanted his name.

Asked if Adebayor's relish for facing his old clubs would influence his team selection, Spurs boss Villas-Boas said: "For sure we take that into account.

"Revolt and motivation are always factors I keep speaking about.

"I never say anything about celebrations. Celebrations mean emotion and football IS emotion for me. I have nothing to say about the way people express themselves."
