Tottenham are chasing Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The Sunday Mirror says with the imminent arrival of Florent Malouda from Lyon, Wright-Phillips faces an even harder fight to force his way into the first team picture at Stamford Bridge and it now looks certain that he will move on.

But Tottenham will face fierce competition for Wright-Phillips from Aston Villa while new Manchester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson, who gave the player his first cap while England boss, could well have him high on the list of players he wants to bring in to help with his rebuilding.
