Tottenham striker Eidur Gudjohnsen admits he's upset over complaints from West Ham United after choosing to move to White Hart Lane in January.
The Icelandic international came within a medical of moving to Upton Park before opting for Spurs on deciding to quit Monaco.
West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola, Gudjohnsen's former Chelsea team-mate, revealed a rare show of anger at the situation.
Putting the record straight, Gudjohnsen told the Mirror: "Its true that I initially thought I was going to sign for West Ham but then two good opportunities presented themselves.
"Gianfranco and I go back a long way and it was a bit of an awkward situation. I feel disappointed to have let him down but I still have great respect for the man."
