Boca Juniors midfielder Wilmar Barrios is attracting interest from Premier League.

Barrios has been likened to Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante and is a favourite of Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino.

TyC Sports says Spurs have opened talks with Boca this past weekend about a price for the Colombia international.

Everton are also interested in the midfielder, but now face losing out to Spurs according to the Argentine source.

Barrios, 25, was part of Colombia's World Cup squad.
