Tottenham ace Gareth Bale is excited about his imminent move to Real Madrid. The People says the Spanish giants tabled an £86.3million offer for Bale, 24, last month - and will put the Welshman on Galactico wages.
Bale will sign a five-year deal worth a basic £150k per week - putting him on a par with Real's other superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso.
The Welshman is understood to be in awe of the fact he is rated on a par with the Spanish club's superstars and that's a major factor in his desire to join Real.
Bale, who will not feature in Tottenham's opening Premier League game at Crystal Palace on Sunday, can also expect to top up his mega deal with image rights payments.
Real's top players earn between £3m and £5m a year extra from profit share agreements based on the club's worldwide earnings and shirt sales.
That will put Bale into the top tier of best paid players with an annual salary of around £10m after tax over the five-year contract.
